GO-ercn (Graphistes de l’Ombre – European Responsible Communication Network) is a non-profit organization created in 2006 in Marseille that works as a participatory network of companies. Its core values revolve around the respect of human rights and the environment of life. Its mission consists of educational programs at local and European level between:
- Young people and children
- Teachers and parents
- Social and community workers
- Communication and design professionals
The events, meetings, research and communication missions initiated by GO-ercn are interdisciplinary test laboratories to explore these issues, with the aim of developing new concepts of “artistic practices” with an added pedagogical value around them. We involve the participants in various levels by channeling educational content into artistic forms.
Each project includes visits, debates and workshops that lead to graphic, video and web content, as well as objects of art and crafts designed and created by the participants, all of them intimately linked to the pressing social and environmental problems of our times.
GO-ercn is a certified training organization that prioritizes active pedagogy and non-formal educational teaching methods. Its inclusive approach aims to create self-managed frameworks and learning contexts that favor open creative processes based on collective intelligence.
Unless otherwise specified, the results of the projects carried out by GO-ercn are publicly shared under the general terms of the Creative Commons license.
The GO-ercn network includes four employees and thirty active members with technical skills in communications, graphic design, video and photography, illustration, interpretation, creative writing, project management and around two hundred support members, including students, youth and teachers who They have participated in local or European workshops.
